Terms & Refunds

These terms apply when you buy Oma's Recipes: Traditional Hungarian & European Comfort Foods (the e-book) from Omas Recipes, a business of Izabela Varnavelias (sole trader, ABN 55 953 619 612), through our Payhip checkout.

The product

The e-book is a digital product: one PDF file of 123 A4 pages. Nothing is posted to you.
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Payment is processed by Payhip, which delivers your download link on screen and by email.
Food images are digitally created illustrations showing how each dish is traditionally presented. Your finished dishes may look a little different.

Your licence

When you buy the e-book, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to download, read and print it for your own household use. You're welcome to buy it as a gift for someone else. Please don't share, resell, redistribute or post the file or its contents publicly. © 2026 Omas Recipes. All rights reserved.

Refunds and your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Faulty or not as described: if the file is faulty, won't download or open, or isn't as described, please email hello@omasrecipes.com.au with your order details. We'll fix it with a replacement file or give you a refund.
Change of mind: because the e-book is an instant digital download, we don't usually offer refunds if you simply change your mind.

Cooking safely

Recipes contain common allergens including gluten, eggs, dairy, fish, tree nuts and poppy seeds, and some desserts contain alcohol that is not cooked off. The index's diet markers are a guide only, so always check ingredients and packaged-food labels. Take care when deep-frying or making caramel, follow safe food-handling practices and cook meat thoroughly. Ovens vary, so use the visual cues in each method.

Shops and brands

Brand and store names in the e-book are shopping guidance only. Omas Recipes has no affiliation with any retailer mentioned.
