Privacy policy

Omas Recipes is a small Australian business run by Izabela Varnavelias (sole trader, ABN 55 953 619 612). This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information is collected when you visit omasrecipes.com.au or buy the e-book, and how it's handled. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• When you buy the e-book: checkout is run by Payhip. Payhip collects your name, email address and payment details so it can process the payment and send your download link. Card details are handled by Payhip and its payment providers and are never seen or stored by us. We receive your name, email address and order details from Payhip.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• When you browse this website: this site doesn't use its own analytics or advertising cookies. Our web host may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. Payhip's checkout script loads on pages with a buy button and may set its own cookies when you open the checkout.

How we use it

To deliver your e-book, help with downloads, answer your questions, handle refunds, and meet tax and record-keeping obligations. We don't sell or rent your personal information. We'll only send you marketing emails if you've asked to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop and the website, such as Payhip (checkout and file delivery), its payment providers, our web host and our email provider. Some of these services may store information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email hello@omasrecipes.com.au. If you're not happy with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
